Good game. Better than the gree version however using some photoshopped guys who look like zombies. They should have kept the manga version.

After playing a little while, we get used to the new design. However I feel the same as you (and many others for sure): I feel more comfortable with the manga design, especially for the CGs (character graphics). Anyway, I like this game and I hope the other characters will be released soon (cause we need to be reeeally patient to play other voltage characters...).

The game is great, but oh my Gosh, its just not working right! I bought the sequel for Wilfried but it just wont open!

Im super happy that Voltage decided to translate another game but... Its to bad that you did more than translate. The artwork was fine in the original. I dont know who gave the idea that all people who speak English love the 3D look. The majority of English speaking otome fans like the anime look. Im sure theyre some who love the change but wow. I dont think I will be buying anymore stories but the one I did to give the game a chance. Pirates in love I bought 4 stories,spin-off and epilogues but this game whenever I see their faces I am just weirded out. Maybe you can have a option to use either the 2D or 3D look? Oh! Please dont go back to Gree either. Hopefully these reviews do not fall on deaf ears.

With GREE you messed up the game by giving it no music and having the royal factor system and passes but at least it had the original princes but now there is music and everything but the princes are those from some horror teen books... I dont know what to say but I can bare to get through the prologue this.

Ive been looking forward cause the Gree app dosent work and now why are they so ugly >.<? why arent they like the normal ones cant you please cange it D:?

Im soo glad they made this version, I like it way better then the gree version, so far the plot is a bit different (Ive started Wilfreds route.) I wonder why they didnt stick with the anime characters though. Still a great game like the others from Voltage, keep the games coming! Cant wait for the characters to be released!

What is this supposed to be? This is not Wilfried as I like him. ._. They all look ugly and not slighty as beautiful as the japanese characters. Please make a english Version with the usual graphics.

Okay, you ruined the game with GREE and now you ruin it by adding creepy animation, 3D guys that look like Sims! I downloaded the game but I couldnt tap on the app to play it! Its weird and I prefer the anime version. Why cant you guys just stick with the original format? Is it too much to ask for to keep the game the way it was? If you guys just made it this way because itll clash with GREE then forget about BE MY PRINCESS and translate another game with the original format and hopefully GREE and 3D free! Trust me and the other voltage fans that reviewed this game and didnt like it, that we prefer the original version than this crap!

Seriously, when i saw Keith i almost choked, and the rest is just as creepy. It seems as though voltage is making fun of us, if thats how its gonna be i wont be buying any future realeases!

I was really looking forward to the non-Gree version of this but I refuse to buy any of the stories until the graphics are corrected. The 3d western graphics are way too creepy looking and ruin the atmosphere of the game. :(

What can I say? The GREE version is even better than this. The graphics for the princes are just plain creepy! It also looks really out of place and when they smile it looks like they want to torture you or something. It just isnt pleasing to the eye. Please change it back to the anime style. Also the prologue is different from the GREE version. I feel like its missing a lot of plot and kinda unrealistic. It makes me doubt how good the routes are.

Good news and bad news. Lets start off on the good news. THANK THE LORD FOR GETTING RID OF "gree" or whatever. bad news. The graphics. The looks that the princes give resembles something between "Im going to eat your babies" and "one day you might find me behind the bathroom curtain with a machete. " Im not quite sure why the company decided to change it. It was so nice before, filled with beautifully designed anime men, and now its just scary. I was not able to even finish the prolog. Just wrong. I defiantly prefer the old models like forged wedding( which I absolutely adore) and pirates. This new version comes off as trying too hard and killing a good thing. Voltage needs to realize that we by the chapters to get an authentic otome experience ( minus the Japanese), containing anime men not weird looking, over the top, scary attempts of realistic animation. I sincerely hope that voltage changes the app back to the original graphics, because from the looks of it, this app is not going to make a lot of money.

First of all thank god theres no more gree. I rather just buy it. The story is great and so is the backgrounds.3D is really weird and theyre all so pale it reminds me if zombies!!!! I really really love the plot of this game. But the guys are seriously creepy. Im not buying any characters. I didnt even finish the prologue!!! Yuck. Everything but the princes are beautiful. That includes the skip button.The Artwork is fantastic. People like me would rather have the anime guys then weird realistic people. Weve always loved the anime guys, and its not going to change.

I just want to take a moment to say Thanks to the voltage team. Clearly theyre listening to all the feedback they are receving in regards to the Be My Princess simulation since they released this version of the game. So Thanks!! The story itself is enjoyable. I bought both characters and both their stories are really entertaining and fun. However, I must agree with the other comments on the graphics of the princes. They are kind of creepy looking but overall the game was really enjoyable. In my opinion, anything is better than the gree version. If in the future it would be really amazing if the characters were back to their original art work, and when you translate other simulation games, please also make those in original art work. The American style art work is clearly not working.

I agree with most of the girls here! The guys look scary like they could give me nightmares! Im not even bothering buying this. Ill just stick to the slow gree version! Its painful but better than this. Please stick to pretty anime version! Sorry for harsh review but this is what I honestly feel.(-_-)

In all honesty I thought the change in graphics was going to make the game horrible based off first impression but after playing it grew on me. Still prefer the old version of graphics more but all in all still good and enjoyable game.

I am very glad that there is another release of Be My Princess, but like what several others before me have said, the real life characters are rather uncanny and creepy. The character supposedly being Keith looks like a drug addict or someone whos going to kill me. It would have been one thing if the ENTIRE game was set in a real life setting. Or even if the characters were animated (I do do like an animated version more). But to have a real life portrayal of a character set in an animated background clashes very horribly with the characters. In any case, I disapprove of having real life portrayals of the characters. The allure of an otome game is to allow players to submerge into a fantasy world where players can get lost and enjoy the game. However, by having a real portrayal of a character, it robs us of our fantasy like world and makes it harder for us to cross the threshold to allow us to enjoy it. Unless this game is changed back into an animated version or there is another release but with the animated character, I dont think this version of Be My Princess with life like characters is for me. Despite all this, I am really looking forward to the new game of "Seduced in a Sleepless City" which appears to NOT be affiliated wit GREE and is also animated. In the future, please do not partner up with GREE and stick with the animated style. Pirates in Love and My Forged Wedding are perfect examples and I would be more than happy to purchase further games created by you as long as you stick with your winning formula from Pirates in Love and My Forged Wedding.
